Reveal a hidden Lord Voldemort™
Hold the front cover of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ – Part 2 videogame up to your webcam to unleash the Dark Lord in our interactive Augmented Reality experience. And if you have Part 1 of the game too, hold that up at the same time for an extra magical surprise.
LAUNCH AR
Get started
- You’ll need a copy of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ – Part 2 videogame – this experience will work for all formats.
- Hit the “Launch AR” button above.
- You’ll then be asked whether you’re using a PC or Mac.
- The AR file will then be downloaded to your computer.
- Then simply follow the instructions on your screen to install and run the application.
- Your webcam should start working automatically.
- You’re all set. Simply hold the front cover of your game up to your webcam to reveal Lord Voldemort.
- If you have Part 1 of the game, try holding that up at the same time as Part 2 for an extra surprise. Plus, if you then hold the Part 1 cover up by itself, you can get a special unlock code for the game by hitting the space bar (not available for Nintendo DS).

If you have any problems…
- Make sure your webcam is plugged in and installed correctly.
- Ensure your webcam is angled correctly.
- Check you’re holding up the game’s front cover 20 to 40cm from the screen.
- Make sure your webcam is not being used by any other applications.
- Close any large applications that you may have open.
- Close all other browsers apart from the one you’re using now.
- Try resetting the application by moving the game’s cover out of range and then back in again.
